John Mobley Jr is a talented basketball player and a standout junior at Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas. Mobley Jr was born in central Ohio and left the state when he was 11 years old. However, he will be returning to Ohio for college, committing to Ohio State University in Oct 2022. In his own words, he chose Ohio State because it fit his game best and he had a strong relationship with the coaches.
Mobley Jr is ranked 44th in the class of 2024, the 6th best point guard in the nation, and the second highest ranked player in Nevada according to 247Sports.
